As part of a recent launch in the South Tyneside region under the banner "Bid Box", the Company attended a workshop to find out more about how tenders will be sent out from the local council and how to complete them.  The idea of electronic tendering will become more evident in an effort to become more environmentally friendly, as well as giving Companies the chance to tender for their area of expertise.

Tender monitors will be on hand to assist Companies in completing the PQQ's or deciphering what is required within the tender documents themselves.  Whilst this will assist local Companies, it will also be time-saving and reduce the amount of paper and postage.  Hopefully the idea will be rolled out across the other council areas.
